Lubna Haroun is the Vice President of Moment Makers - the department responsible for the headline talent guest group at Expo 2020. Lubna reports directly to the Director General HE Reem Al Hashimy. She is integral to the strategic leadership and coordination of planning, curation, conceptualization, management and delivery of global headline talent ‘peak moments’ at Expo. Lubna is also responsible for the centralizing of all headline talent requests, contracting and delivery across the organization.
Lubna started her journey with Expo 2020 back in 2011 and was a fundamental member of the bid team.
Over the last 10 years, she has developed an impeccable track record as a creative and motivated business leader with a passion for the music & entertainment industry.

Mona Abou Hana is Chief People Officer for the EMEA cluster and at PwC Middle East. She is responsible for fostering and preserving a positive culture aligned with our purpose and values, reinforcing positive engagement with employees and EMEA HC Leaders and overseeing talent management and development. As part of her role, Mona oversees people experience, data and analytics, wellbeing, our internal digital upskilling programme and corporate social responsibility initiatives.
She is passionate about diversity, inclusion, the future of work, wellbeing, people experience, people data and analytics, digital upskilling, talent management and development. Under her
leadership, PwC Middle East was awarded CIPD’s Employer of Choice for their leading digital upskilling programme.
As a Consulting Partner, Mona led the Innovation and Entrepreneurship agenda in the Government and Public Sector practice. She specialised in strategy and policy formulation and focused on national planning, innovation & entrepreneurship ecosystems as well as upskilling strategies to ready the workforce for the digital world.
Mona holds a Masters in Business Administration from INSEAD and a Bachelor in Economics from the American University of Beirut. She is fluent in English, Arabic and French.
Tessy Antony DE Nassau is a Social Entrepreneur, Business Woman, Philanthropist, UNAids Ambassador, Public Speaker, Activist, Medial Doctorate and PHD candidate and Mother.
"Tessy is the Founder of the Global consultancy ‘ Finding Butterflies Consultancy Ltd’, a strategic communication firm which aims to be supporting governments, institutions and business leaders in Impact projects, educational campaigns, women inclusion, and conference attendance and organisation. Tessy is also an associate at LSEideas at the London School of Economics a global recognised educational institution in London.
Tessy is also the Co-Founder of an investment vehicle which focuses on tech startups and renewable energies.
Her commitments to education can be seen in her Charity, Professors Without Borders where she holds the title as President and Co-Founder– that brings top-level educators and global experts to the doorsteps of students worldwide, in order to develop talent.
Moreover, Tessy is an ambassador for UNAIDS (Global Advocate for Young Women and Adolescent Girls) and is the patron to UNA-UK along with the creator of the UN Millennial goals Lord Malloch Brown. In the past, She spent five years in the Luxembourg military, during which she was deployed in Kosovo as a peacekeeper and only woman of her draft.
Tessy is working on her medical doctorate and phd in integrative medicine at the moment.
Tessy is the Co-Founder of the sustainable fashion brand called Human Highness.
After an impeccable educational journey Tessy decided to put theory into practice. She actively promotes a number of issues, including global health and women’s rights. She is passionate about pushing her different agendas to benefit the Sustainable Development Goals and has committed her time and energy to furthering the work of organisations in which she believes in. Moreover, she is actively committed to strengthening basic human rights for all and empowering young women and adolescent girls around the world. She got bestowed the Dame Grand Cross of Order of Adolphe of Nassau from HRH Grand Duc Henri of Luxembourg. Moreover, she received the Woman of the Decade award from the Women Economic Forum in January 2017, the Humanities medal for spreading humanistic ideas worldwide and the Global Empowerment Award for her work in Africa. She was named “Leader of the Year 2019” by the Leadership Academy in Luxembourg.
Nadine Samra, Chief Business Officer for Weyyak.com/Zee Entertainment. Awarded “Female broadcast executive of the year” by BroadcastPro in 2020, also awarded “Digital Transformation Maestro” in December 2018. Have launched the top two OTT Arabic platforms, currently runs “Weyyak.com” and have managed “Shahid.net” earlier in her career. Known speaker and digital media subject matter expert.
Zainab Salbi is a celebrated humanitarian, author and journalist. Oprah Winfrey identified her as one of the 25 women changing the world to People Magazine and Foreign Policy Magazine called Zainab one of “100 Top Global Thinkers”. She is the founder and former CEO of Women for Women International, an author of few books including the national bestseller Between Two Worlds and her latest Freedom Is an Inside Job.
She is also the creator and host of several shows including: #MeToo, Now What? on PBS and Through Her Eyes with Zainab Salbi at Yahoo News. She is currently the host of Redefined podcast, chief awareness officer at FindCenter and co-founder of Daughters for Earth.
Moon Baz is the Head of Entertainment Partnerships for MENA and Turkey at Facebook. Moon works closely with strategic media publishers and creators supporting them to leverage the Facebook tools to maximize mutually beneficial objectives. Prior to joining Facebook, Moon was a freelance consultant supporting different strategic clients in the region including Deezer MENA, Vue International and GCAM Saudi Arabia. Moon was a Business Planning Manager at MBC group across the online platforms, VOD, mobile services and distribution. Before that, Moon was a management consultant with Booz & Co, where she supported projects for the firm across the Media industry. Moon holds an undergraduate degree in Economics and a Master’s degree in Financial Economics from the American University of Beirut
Natalie is the Partner Solution Manager for Entertainment, covering the MENA and Turkey regions. She works alongside broadcasters, digital publishers, creators and public figures to optimise their presence on both Facebook and Instagram. Prior to joining Facebook, Natalie lead on Market Intelligence and Consumer Insights at MBC, the largest broadcaster in MENA and also spent 6 years at Omnicom Media Group within the data and analytics function working alongside advertising clients.
Derya Matras is the Vice President of Facebook for Middle East, Africa and Turkey. She leads Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger and other platforms in more than 70 countries, serving communities and businesses to build a digital ecosystem that will expand the social and economic impact in the region.
Derya has over 20 years’ experience in various industries including technology, management consulting and media. Prior to joining Facebook, she was Vice President of Dogan Media Group, the largest media conglomerate in Turkey, and also held leadership roles in Management Consulting, mostly at McKinsey&Company. She is a passionate advocate of Diversity and Inclusion and women empowerment, especially in youth and disadvantaged societies.
Derya Matras holds an MBA degree from Columbia Business School and a BsC in Electronics Engineering from Bogazici University. She has been selected as one of the top ten 50 most powerful Female CEOs of Turkey. Matras was also in Fortune Turkey’s ‘40 under 40’ list. Elected as the California President for Turkish American Business Council (TAIK), she is also Vice President of TOBB Young Entrepreneurs Council. Matras is married and has two young kids.
